Most tools on this site — including every developer, finance, text, unit converter, date/time, color, and SEO tool, along with the majority of our PDF, image, video, and audio tools — process your input entirely in your own browser. Files and text you enter into these tools are never uploaded to our servers; they never leave your device.
A small number of tools require a server round-trip to function — for example, the Currency Converter fetches live exchange rates from a third-party financial data provider. In these cases, only the specific data needed for that request (such as a currency pair) is sent; no file content is transmitted. Where a future tool does require file upload for server-side processing, that page will clearly disclose it, and uploaded files are automatically deleted from storage shortly after processing completes or the download link expires — whichever comes first.
Information we collect
- Newsletter subscribers: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and subscription status until you unsubscribe.
- Admin accounts: site administrators authenticate to manage tools, blog content, and site settings. This account system is not available to the public and is unrelated to using our free tools.
