Resize Image
Resize an image to exact pixel dimensions, with optional aspect ratio locking.
Every platform seems to want a slightly different image size — a profile photo needing exact square dimensions, a website banner needing a specific width, a product photo needing to fit a marketplace's size requirements — and manually resizing without distorting the image or losing the parts that matter takes more care than it should.
This tool resizes any image to exact pixel dimensions you specify. With aspect ratio locking enabled, entering a new width automatically calculates a proportional height (and vice versa), preventing accidental stretching or squashing. Turn off aspect ratio locking if you specifically need to force an image into non-proportional dimensions.
Resizing happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API, so there's no upload wait and your image never leaves your device during processing.

Frequently asked questions
Common mistakes to avoid
- Enlarging a small image significantly, expecting the same sharpness as the original — resizing up always involves some quality tradeoff.
- Turning off aspect ratio locking without realizing it will distort the image.
